One of the most famous cartoon comprised
of Hollywood Stars from the Golden Age of tinsel town was
"Hollywood Steps Out", made by Warner Bros in 1941.
Supervised by Fred Avery. Filled with great caricatures this toon takes
place in a posh nightclub. Featured stars included Bing Crosby, Henry
Fonda, Cary Grant, Great Garbo as a big footed cigarette girl, Groucho
Marx, James Cagney, Jimmy Stewart, Judy Garland, Johnny Weissmuller,
Peter Lorre, Oliver Hardy and many more. Seated among the stars in a
cartoon likeness of Warner Bros Animation guru ... Leon Scheslinger.
